Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in America. She is best known for her role as Skyler White on the AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she took home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in A Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other characters include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting during Preparatory School when her family moved to Ohio towards the end of 1970. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna worked at the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her hand at TV and films. Anna's first major role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She made an appearance in 29 episodes. After a brief appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. In 2000, she was assigned to Deadwood for the part of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully The Deadwood film, and a few other movies included her. Gunn performed on stage in order to play the role of David Schwimmer in Sex With Strangers. Gunn played a part in the podcast's four-part audio drama Numbered days, which came out in 2022. The love story of Walter White and his wife Skyler tends to be the central theme of the story that is told in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's end of his life.
